Vacuum bottle top filter systems are an inexpensive and easy way to sterilize and clarify water based biological media. They feature a PVDF membrane which offer high chemical resistance and lower protein binding than other membrane types, e.g. PES. This part number comes with a polystyrene receiving bottle pre-attached. They are ideal for general filtration use where high chemical resistance is not a concern.
