Nest Scientific
NEST Benchtop Filling and Stoppering Machine, Standard Precision 5%
Key Features & Configuration
This video shows the machine in action.
Control System
- Touchscreen interface in both Chinese and English
- Filling control system capable of storing multiple sets of filling data for easy record-keeping and review
- Integrated control cabinet within the unit for a more compact footprint
Filling Module
- Utilizes a high-precision 316L stainless steel peristaltic pump, customizable via parameter settings to meet different filling needs
- Filling volume: 0.1–3 mL, with accuracy controlled within ±2% in 0.1 mL increments
- Throughput: approximately 300 cartridges per hour
- Servo-motor-driven needle holder enables programmable filling curves tailored to different drug types and volumes. During filling, the needle is inserted into the vial and moves with the liquid level, effectively preventing air bubbles and splashing.
- Sterility maintained by using disposable pharma grade silicone tubing with peristaltic pump
- Standard precision +/- 5% fill volume
Stoppering Module
- Features vacuum stoppering, suitable for prefilled syringes and cartridges. Each unit undergoes vacuum level detection during the stoppering process. Adjustable vacuum settings help control bubble formation, significantly improving stoppering success rates.
- Vacuum stoppering minimizes rubber stopper deformation and helps preserve surface coatings on the stoppers.
Other Details:
- 120V plugs into a standard 120V outlet, no electrician needed
- 120lbs
- US held spare parts and technicians available
- 2-year warranty
- Ships from New Jersey on a pallet
Nest makes the most affordable aseptic fill finish machine on the market for 3mL cartridges and prefilled syringes. These machines are small enough to fit inside a standard Biosafety Cabinet (BSC) or laminar flow hood to create an aseptic atmosphere for filling. One side fills the cartridge or syringe and the other vacuums out the air left behind the stopper. Machines are made of durable pharma grade materials, e.g. 316L stainless steel, PEEK and USP grade VI silicone. Ideal for compounding pharmacies, clinical trials and peptide manufacturers. Can be used to fill GLP-1 cartridges, peptides, hormones, insulin, or any other milligram dose injectable medication.
