Inactivation Transport Medium (ITM)

Nest Scientific inactivation transport media (ITM) is a FDA 510k approved (FDA 510k K210440 ITM) solution for the collection, transport, preservation, and long-term freeze storage of clinical specimens containing viruses, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Ureaplasma. Each transport tube meets IATA 95 kPa requirements. 

• Guanidine Thiocyanate based inactivates viruses and prevents nucleic acid degradation.
• Specimens can be transported and stored at room temperature for up to 20 days.
