Multi-Layer Tissue Culture Systems - Nest Biofactory
Nest Biofactory™ Systems are compact, multi-layer, single-use cell culture systems
designed for easy scale-up cell culture applications that can be used for medium to large scale research and industrial production of cell products such as vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and biopharmaceuticals. They are best suited for use with adherent cell culture line.
They are also nearly identical to the Corning CellStack line of tissue culture systems. The dimensions, materials, geometry and threading are essentially the same. One key difference is that Nest Biofactories use ultra-sonic welding to adhere layers together while Corning relies on adhesives. This is a major point of differentiation as it means Nest Biofactories have much lower leachable levels as compared to the same system from Corning. Less leachables means happier cells and more reproducible science.
